Our story

Wilde Finn Painting is a product of love, craftsmanship, and a touch of whimsy—born from decades of experience and a passion for beautiful spaces. Founded by husband-and-wife team Paul and Jenni Catanese, the company reflects both their professional expertise and personal story.

Originally from Michigan, Paul and Jenni spent time in Seattle before settling in Summerville, South Carolina. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial painting and contracting, Paul had long envisioned building something of his own. That vision came to life when they made the move to the Lowcountry—and Wilde Finn Painting was born.

The name? It’s a tribute to their two beloved dogs, Briggs Finnegan and Oscar Wilde, whose names reflect the same character, charm, and spirit they bring to their work. Whether it's painting, wallpaper, or custom woodworking, every project is approached with care, creativity, and an unwavering attention to detail.

At Wilde Finn, it's not just about making things look good—it's about helping your home feel more like you.
